Displays

On display at Invergordon Museum you will find:

· A remembrance of HMS Natal which suffered a fatal explosion in the Cromarty Firth on December 30th, 1915

· Information relating to the Invergordon Mutiny

· An extensive display of equipment from the old Naval hospital including an iron lung

· The history of Invergordon including the three castles

· The development of the port of Invergordon including two models of oil rigs and the Invergordon lifeboat

· “Granny’s house” – a selection of items that your Granny would have used

· The story of Invergordon’s Polish camp during WWII and the contribution the Polish soldiers made to the local community

· Invergordon school photos – a selection of photographs taken over 100 years showing various class groups of Invergordon schools.  If you went to school in the Invergordon area perhaps you are already in the museum!
